Micro Analog 2 USB Interface.

The FE-MM4, FE-MM8, FE-MM16 and FE-MM40 systems are available with a USB interface. Each system with its USB module inserted provides you with 400 kHz total sample rate (16 bit samples). For the FE-MM4 this is 100 k samples per second on each channel and for the FE-MM8 it is 50 k samples per second on each channel. The FE-MM40 provides up to 10 k samples per second per channel.

The FE-MA32/40 system is for signal conditioning only and does not have USB interface

You get plug and play operation, software support for LabView and C++, and ready to run MADAQ data acquisition software is included.

If you need a customised version, we are the designers and manufacturers of both the hardware and software so just contact us with your requirements and we will work with you to provide an optimised solution.

The Micro Analog 2 FE-MM40 USB data acquisition system is a chassis (FE-MM40) fitted with a USB interface module (FE-357-USBM which extends the FE-357-USB with an off board multiplexer).

The Micro Analog 2 FE-MM16 USB data acquisition system is a chassis (FE-MM16) fitted with a USB interface module (FE-357-USB).

The Micro Analog 2 FE-MM8 USB data acquisition system is a chassis (FE-MM8) fitted with a USB interface module (FE-356-USB). You can fit up to 8 channels of a variety of plug in signal conditioning modules.

The Micro Analog 2 FE-MM4 USB data acquisition system is a chassis (FE-MM4) fitted with a combined PSU and USB interface module (FE-813-USB). You can fit 2 or 4 channels of signal conditioning

All systems accept a variety of plug in signal conditioning modules making them a powerful and versatile way to connect any transducer to a PC.

You can connect directly to the protected A to D inputs or Digital I/O without using signal conditioning modules.

The system is provided with ready to run MADAQ data acquisition software for Windows computers and includes drivers for LabView software. Programmers can also use Visual Basic or C/C++ . For software updates visit our Download Page

OEM users may wish to use Fylde MADAQ data acquisition software as a starting point for their bespoke application. MADAQ is LabVIEW based and Fylde will make the source available to any OEM. Alternatively we will customise MADAQ software to your requirement.

FE-MM8 with USB

The FE-356-USB module makes the FE-MM8 into a complete USB data acquisition system.

The module not only handles the flow of the sampled data to the host computer, but also maintains the auto zero function for any installed transducer amplifiers.

USB technology is plug and play so your computer will automatically recognise the FE-356-USB as a new device and install the software for it.

FE-356-USB Interface Module

8 channel 16 bit A to D converters with USB 1.1 interface. 8 x 50 kS/s.

This module provides all the functions of the Auto Zero module and the USB interface.

The module can only be fitted in a FE-MM8 chassis.

The FE-357-USBM works with an external multiplexer to provide 40 channels of A to D conversion.

This module can only be used in the FE-MM40 chassis
