FE-1001-PA

A highly integrated, low powered and compact board FE-1001TPA to suit a wide range of transducer and gauge installations. This unit includes ten different gain settings with very precise output amplitude adjustment. Additionally it contains AC/DC coupling with five high pass and five low pass settings allowing for more flexible filtering range. With amplifier setup using I2C this is a great way to add a high precision signal conditioner to your OEM design or experiment, ask the team about shields for all your favourite development platforms.

FE-078-FV

This instantaneous F-V converter accepts frequency inputs from electromagnetic or light activated sources, or from a low impedance output of other signal conditioning systems for virtually all pulse or frequency waveforms from 10mV to 30V RMS.
The frequency of the incoming signal is converted to an output voltage in the range 0-10V, requiring just one pulse of the new frequency to update the
output voltage.
The full-scale frequency is set using two front panel decimal rotary switches, and an onboard jumper selects the output span so that 0.0 V can represent 0 Hz or 90% of the full-scale frequency.
The full-scale frequency can be set between 10 Hz and 30 kHz. The lowest frequency which can be converted is 0.25 Hz.
A low noise output combined with linearity and accuracy exceeding 0.1% provides excellent analogue performance, and selecting the on board 3 pole ­filter provides a frequency averaging function when required.
Front panel indicators show “signal present” and “status”. A front panel control can be used to adjust signal sensitivity.
12V DC transducer power and 3.3V TTL buffered frequency outputs are available at the module output connector.
Power requirement is 10-36V DC.
The module is mechanically and electrically compatible standard DIN Rail specifications.

FE-549-CDT

Presented in a narrow panel,100mm x 160mm Eurocard format, this 4 channel CDT amplifier enables the connection of 4 separate capacitance transducers, or 2 back to back dual channel transducers, and provides a voltage proportional to capacitance on 4 buffered outputs. 

Featuring a  unique transformer coupled preamplifier the energisation level is raised to 40V p-p which brings benefits to noise and stability. 

The unit is driven from a common oscillator utilising individual power buffers, and the problems of beating which may be associated with multichannel CDT systems are thus avoided.

Up to 14 modules (56 channels) may be fitted into a 42HP Eurocard frame, which contains a common power supply and master oscillator.

FE-316-DYN

Micro Analog 2 – DYNAMIC STRAIN GAUGE AMPLIFIER

The FE-316-DYN is a dual channel dynamic strain gauge amplifier which energises a gauge or bridge using a unique low noise balanced dynamic constant current.

The unit is presented as a printed circuit card with jumpers which select constant current, gain and filter bypass.

Filter settings are by plug-in resistor network:

  • The 8 pole (-48 dB / octave) LP
  • The 2 pole (-12 dB / Octave) HP 

The constant current supply is very low noise and is balanced so that the load resistance develops approximately equal positive and negative voltages at its terminals.

FE-(H)389-TA

BLUE PANEL SERIES – SMART TRANSDUCER AMPLIFIER

The FE-(H)389-TA is a high performance DC Bridge / Transducer Amplifier replacing both the FE-379-TA & FE-H379-TA amplifiers and is available in two versions.

The standard FE-389-TA has a bandwidth of >1MHz and gains from x10 to x5000. The standard version is hardware upgradable to the FE-(H)389-TA version. 

This provides an increased gain range (x5 to x10000) and a SMART Input Stage that automatically configures itself to provide the lowest noise or highest bandwidth (>2MHz) depending on the Front Panel settings.

Because of the SMART Input Stage the output noise of the FE-(H)389-TA with a >2MHz bandwidth is substantially lower than that of the FE-H379-TA (bandwidth 500kHz).

Low Frequency (L.F. or 1/F) noise has also been substantially lowered.

Six Front Panel push buttons and a single rotary controller allow for simple adjustment of all functions.

A ring of 19 multi-colour LEDs around the controller are
used to indicate all the function states.

Once set up is complete, all controls can be locked to help avoid inadvertant changes to settings.

It is suitable for use with DC bridge type transducers and complete or fractional strain gauge bridges. Because of its high bandwidth (>2MHz), the FE-(H)389-TA is highly recommended for Hopkinson Bar type measurements.

The module is powered from 10V to 36V DC. This allows it to be used directly in automotive envionments or it can be mains powered via standard mains adaptors.

Housings are available for individual modules or for multi-channel systems.
